Healing Spirit began in 1993 as a free newsletter distributed in New York City. It began publishing enlightenment and spirituality material on the Web in 1996. Founder of HealingSpirit Wisdom School

Healing Spirit Wisdom School was founded by urban mystic, author/speaker, Antonia Martinez, Ph.D., a wisdom teacher and spiritual trainer specializing in the art and science of self-expansion and personal transformation. Dr. Martinez is the author of more than a dozen spiritual development titles including her book and audio CD, Essential Wisdom. She holds a doctorate in Metaphysics as well as certifications in clinical hypnotherapy and dream analysis. She is also an ordained metaphysical minister and intuitive consultant.

As Executive Director of the Healing Spirit Wisdom School, Dr. Martinez develops courses, workshops and custom programs for individuals, groups and businesses that put participants on a clear path to measurable change. “The goal of the school is to stimulate spiritual awakening and help participants experience a conscious evolution on the journey toward self-mastery,"says Martinez. "We seek to cultivate spiritual masters.
